Zamma Corporation was founded in 1970 and began as a producer of pre-finished molding for the home center industry. Over the years, our company has grown and evolved into the largest manufacturer of pre-finished floor moldings, including vinyl, laminate and wood moldings, in the world. As an integrated manufacturer, Zamma controls the entire production process from producing profiles (e.g. T-molding, reducer, quarter round shapes) from various substrates (e.g. medium density fiberboard, poplar and vinyl), manufacturing its own laminates and applying (i.e. wrapping) the finish. Zamma’s integrated manufacturing operation, combined with its extensive distribution capabilities, allows it to maintain a significant cost and logistics advantage over competitors, both foreign and domestic.
Zamma’s expertise in this market has made it the choice for floor manufacturers, component distributors, large retailers and installers.
Capabilities
Profile tooling is completed in-house and Zamma continues to vertically integrate critical aspects of its production. In addition to creating our own tooling, we roll-form steel to produce a highly durable metal track system which accompanies each piece of transition molding. Zamma is fully capable of printing and applying labels in-line, including color numbers, UPC codes, and customized logos which drastically increases throughput and translates to faster turnaround of custom ordered product.
